- You walk past an alley that stinks of rubbish.
- You have been asked to buy a pirate CD/DVD while you are at a café.
- You are on a busy bus/train squashed up against other people.

A: It really annoys me when my neighbour’s dog fouls the pavement.
B: Yes, it gets on my nerves, too. They should clean up after their pets.
- You walk past an alley that stinks of rubbish.
A: It makes me angry when alleys smell so bad because of rubbish.
B: That’s a fair point. The city should clean these places more often.
- You have been asked to buy a pirate CD/DVD while you are at a café.
A: It drives me crazy when people try to sell pirate CDs in public.
B: Well, actually, I don’t mind it that much, but it’s illegal.
- You are on a busy bus/train squashed up against other people.
A: I just can’t put up with it any more when the bus is so overcrowded.
B: Yes, it’s awful. They really need to add more buses during rush hour.
