A: Of course! It was red with a little bell. I crashed into a bush the first time I tried to ride it! Did you own any pets growing up?
B: Yes! I owned a golden retriever named Buddy. He used to follow me everywhere. What about you?
A: We had a cat, but I always wanted a dog. My dad wasn’t a fan of pets, though. But we went fishing together sometimes!
B: Really? I only went fishing once — I got scared of the worms! (both laugh)
A: Did you make a tree house or anything like that?
B: No, but my cousins had one! I used to visit them just to play in it. Did you?
A: Yes! My brother and I made a tiny one in our backyard. It was more like a wooden platform, but we loved it!
B: What about birthday parties? Did you have big celebrations or go to parties?
A: Not really — just cake with family. But my friends and I used to have sleepovers instead. What was your favorite childhood memory?
B: Probably riding bikes with my friends after school. We felt so free!
