Nowadays people have become increasingly concerned about ecology. Some individuals even believe that limiting the number of flights per year would significantly reduce CO2 emissions and help combat climate change. Others, however, are skeptical about this claim. 

Personally, I think that introducing flight limitations could be an effective measure to reduce environmental damage. To begin with, air travel is one of the fastest-growing sources of greenhouse gas emissions, and reducing flights would directly decrease the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere. Besides, encouraging people to use alternative modes of transportation, such as trains or video conferencing for business trips, could promote more sustainable habits without drastically affecting quality of life.

However, there are those who state that limiting flights would unfairly restrict personal freedom and hinder global connectivity. They argue that air travel is essential for business, tourism, and maintaining relationships across borders. Some also claim that technological advancements, such as more fuel-efficient planes or sustainable aviation fuels, could reduce emissions without imposing strict limits.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with the opinion above. While technological improvements are important, they take time to implement and may not fully offset the rapid growth in air travel. Moreover, individual sacrifices, such as flying less, are necessary to achieve meaningful environmental progress.

In conclusion, contrary to what others say, I would like to emphasize that while flight restrictions may be inconvenient, they are a necessary step toward reducing our carbon footprint and protecting the planet for future generations. Sustainable alternatives and responsible travel choices should become priorities in our fight against climate change.
