Imagine that you are looking at photos of you and your friends. Choose one photo to present to your friend.
In your talk, remember to speak about:
- when you took the photo
- what/who is in the photo
- what is happening
- why you took the photo
- why you decided to show the picture to your friend
You have to talk continuously, starting with: ‘I’ve chosen a photo number … .’
I’ve chosen photo number 3.
As you know, John, I took photography last year. Since then, I’ve taken lots of pictures and it’s one of my best.
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago during our school reunion. I was so happy to see everyone, so I decided to capture this moment. Look! The action is taking place in a cozy restaurant. In the foreground you can see four of my classmates sitting at a table, chatting and having a meal. There are plates of fries, chicken wings and drinks on the table. My classmates look like they’re having a great time catching up.
I keep this photo in my album because I have a special album for school memories, and this reunion definitely deserves a place there. I want to remember this joyful occasion.
I decided to show you this photo because you were saying you haven’t seen your old classmates in a while. Maybe this photo will inspire you to organize a similar gathering with your friends from school. It’s really special to reconnect and reminisce about old times.
